Useless tool due to good intentions but poor design. The function 'Replace filetype' (F4) opens a dialog popup for a selected extention (eg. .JPG) that: a) DOES NOT open a standard selection window in which you can browse for a specific .exe file you want to open .jpg-files (I wanted to use Irfanview.exe), b) only lets you choose from other Microsoft (lousy) software. Trying to manually 'Edit File type' (F2) opens a badly designed popup window with: 1. A Notice section that is too small to show the whole message (no scollbar) (Notice - Changing the properties of this file type may affect the following extensions: .arw, .bmp, .cr2, .crw, .dib, .erf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .jxr, .kdc, .mrw, .nef, .nrw, .orf, .pef, .png, .raf, .raw, .rw2, .rwl, .sr2, .srw, .wdp) 2. no option to overrule or handle the mentioned notice warning, "MAY (!) effect the following extensions" means it could leave your PC in an undefined state for those notice-extensions! 3. some info without explanation, only few people know what to do with it 4. when clicking the [...] button next to 'User choice' you end up in the same lousy selection-list of Microsoft software only! I removed this tool from my system
